ZULU TIME

“… because in the global village, time has become universal…”
Shot in Canada and Belize, Zulu Time is a multi-faceted look at the Brave New World to come seen through the eyes of Derrick de Kerchove, Director of the McLuhan Program at the University of Toronto.

In an emotional counterpoint, ex-broadcaster Georges-Alexandre Gagnon argues for the virtues of a simple life lived on the shores of Belize.

After electronic and written exchanges and debates on the merits of new technology, these two polar opposites finally come to meet atop an ancient Mayan pyramid.

And throughout it all, the ghost of Marshall McLuhan looks on.
